The short version: this site sets no cookies at all unless you agree to analytics. If you say no, nothing is stored and nothing stops working.
Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people actually find useful. That is the only non-essential thing on this site. There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells returning visits apart from new ones. | 2 years |
_ga_SZDWZ95JNZ | Google Analytics | Keeps track of a single visit (session state). | 2 years |
Neither is set until you press Accept. Until then Google Analytics runs in a consent-denied mode where it stores nothing on your device.
Your cookie choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage,
under kt_consent. It never leaves your device and is not sent to
us. Without it we would have to ask you on every single page, so it counts as
strictly necessary and does not need consent. We ask again after a year.
You can change this whenever you like.
Choosing Reject after having accepted also deletes the analytics cookies that were already set. You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and browser-level "do not track" or blocking settings are respected.
